Douglas's Crew:

We have had a lot of interest from younger people to join Dogwatch, as they are under 18 we have created Douglas's Crew which is specifically for 11-17 year olds which works along the same principles as Dogwatch. They are the eyes and ears of the community. To make it more appealing to the younger members, our co-ordinator has asked Stevenage Borough, FA, Hollywood Bowl and Broadwater Dog Club to come on board where competitions will run throughout the year. A monthly dog training group will be set up just for Douglas' Crew members, this will mean there will be a focal point where they can get together in the safety of the community hall and have a soft drink whilst working towards their citizenship with their dog. They could also have an opportunity to take the Dogwatch mascot Douglas over agility courses at events if they so wish.
